Help transporting SORNd car

Even to drive to an MOT anywhere in the country, it still needs to be road worthy. You cant drive a car with 4 bald tyres, rusty floor pans etc to an MOT center. So if it needs work, be careful if you think it'll fail an MOT as you could still get done.
 
I don’t think the pre-booked MOT is a get out of jail free card, I’d exercise caution:

All good discussion about getting to the MOT station thanks. I still don’t want to go to the MOT station, so trailering it home is the only real option. I will be happy to drive to a pre-booked MOT once I’ve have a look at the car and done any corrective work required.

The Shiply reverse auction process seems to be working and the quotes are coming down. I am hoping there’s someone doing a return leg with an empty trailer.
