Help to find a M series steering wheel for my E86

Ok a bit of a price hike for limited production and changing the thread on the needle maybe. But more than twice the price! WTF! :x

I paid about €630 last year for a replacement M wheel for mine from Germany (with the stitching and MFSW). So yes, more expensive, but not double and wasn't a bad price at the time with the then decent exchange rate. Still, quite a lot for some stitching :roll: I think they're about £650 from a dealer in the uK.

Interesting, I stand corrected then. To be honest £650 makes much more sense, particularly with the price there on offer in this link. I wonder why Real OEM is so far out as a general rule from past experience $=£ on there in my experience.

Got the steering wheel this morning, 2 days after ordering, very impressed.

Came in BMW branded box, brand new, direct from BMW dealer.

So went from this:

To this:

The leather now match the ZHP gear knob and even if my old steering wheel was in ok condition, the nappa leather of the M is much higher quality, and the smaller diameter and thickness makes for a much improved interface.
