Help required with odd goings on.

Hello everyone.
My 2006 3.0si has developed 2 odd issues after coming back from its MOT. 1st off is a terrifying surge or delay in throttle as I lift off the pedal , it only lasts a fraction of a second but it's very disconcerting. 2nd is my tyre pressure warning light, traction control and brake warning light have started coming on but no codes to read.
Im hoping that they are related and will be an easy fix , any help would be great.
Cheers

Firstly, most odd and erratic errors in a Z4 are caused by battery faults and its possible the garage had the ignition on for a prolonged time, so fingers crossed that a good charge may resolve it.

Secondly, try and find a nearby member with an a OBD code reader (or get one off Ebay for £18) and see what error codes its giving you.

Add your location to your post (and profile) and somebody may offer to help you. :)

I would agree on this. When my car went in for its MOT the tester left the headlights on whilst checking brake lights, indicators etc. Must have been at least 5 minutes with the engine off.

Thanks guys,
I was thinking vacuum leaks and or battery issues. I replaced the battery about a year ago , but the car is used mostly for short journeys during the winter months, so this may well have compounded the issue. Thanks again for your invaluable input.
