Hi .... roof woes continue.
I now have a working motor. Brought back from the dead!
However, I could really do with some advice about the coupling of the hydraulic pump to the motor itself. On removing the motor bits flew everywhere. This was followed by much swearing
.
The base of the pump unit has a ball bearing race with a centre mount for the part that actually connects to the motor .... this latter part fell out when removing the motor. There's three little steel pins which I presume fit in the holes on the side of the main piece? And can someone please confirm exactly how the peg (and spring) that connects to the motor should look? And any advice about the easiest way to reattach the motor to the pump gratefully received.
Photos attached. With a bonus picture of the sky over Renfrewshire this morning. Thanks for reading. Ian
