Help! Rattle behind dash when cold

Hi, I'm a proud owner of a '07 Z4. I've had the car a week and I've just noticed a pronounced rattle coming from middle of the dash, right in front of the passenger, above and behind the glove box. It only happens when the car is cold and when going over (even small) bumps. I presume the heating coming on expands something and it stops. It's very annoying though! I've had a good prod at everything I can see but haven't been able to stop it.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any advice or help much appreciated.

Hold up. I've fixed it! :D

In case anyone else has a similar problem. It was part of the plastic centre console down inside the footwell, rattling where it joins the dash. Application of small foam block worked wonders! :D

I think i must have had this same rattle when i first got my car (same syptoms) however i removed my footwell plastics when i wired in my road angel.. and since then the noise has gone away!
