Drafting a truck at 100kmh on hte motorway.
Beat that

Have to concur that driving style plays a huge factor in overall fuel economy.
It's actually become a bit of a mission in the zed having had use of a Tesla and a Skoda hybrid in the past.
I regularly skip gears; 1-3-5,6 etc. I coast for miles to red lights and junctions which irritates the living hell out of the Dutch drivers here in Holland! I also do 100kmh on the snelweg and stick to speed limits in town which also surprisingly seems to irritate the Dutchies.
All in all, however much I irritate other road users, I save fuel and sponds and regularly achieve between 35-45 mpg on any given run.
I'm not as anally retentive as to measure my monthly/yearly fuel costs and enjoy giving it the beans once in a while which cumulatively, for me is very satisfying.
