HELP please

Hi all,

hoping someone could help, got an 04 3.0 with 62k on clock. Always ran perfect, took it to quarry motors in Sheffield for an oil change yesterday, ran perfect all day after. But this morning started it up and it's running very lumpy, not idling right and lumpy whilst driving it, engine light is on aswell.

Any ideas would be appreciated, I'm on my mobile so won't be able to reply for a while as I'm just limping it home.

Sounds like a coil or coils are on their way out - individual 'pencil' coils fit on each plug. If one has gone I would personally change the lot (6 or 4 depending on your engine) but cost may prohibit. E bay shows tham at about £16 each.

if you have the old Bremi brand coils, then most likely one went bad. These were replaced with the Bosch units which do not have this problem

Thanks for the help guys, going to take it in to the garage tomorrow try and get it sorted, hopefully won't be too expensive.
