Hi

My stereo stopped working no sound from speakers
Had water in the boot think it fried the amp
Bought a replacement amp from ebay same part no.s etc heard a video of the speakers working in the car
Fitted it but still no sound?

Any ideas? Coding? Looked at my creator c310 and can't find any options for the amp

Any input greatly appreciated its driving me mad
 
Is it worth thinking about replacing the head unit? You can buy a pioneer head unit for £100 which allows you to play music from your phone and make phone calls etc. You also need a blanking plate but they’re cheap off amazon and it’s pretty easy to do.

Just a thought if you can’t get the standard one working.
 
FIXED!
For closure and to help anyone else with similar issues.

So I started to explore the wiring today as I didn't believe that 2 amps could be bad .
Turns out the wiring harness to the amp had a fault, when I manipulated the wiring while attached to the amp the speakers burst into life !
Fitted my original amp and same thing so I took the plug apart and moved all the wires then reassembled the plug and it works!!

For info replacement amps don't need coding and I know have an expensive spare sat in my garage
 
Thanks, yes I'm so glad its fixed although not entirely free as I've shelled out for an amp that I didn't need :D
