Help please - rattle from near glovebox

Doesn't seem to be the glovebox - have tried it empty and full, open and closed - rattle still there
Also tried cupholder - doesn't seem to be that either

Any ideas?
 
Passenger seatbelt touching door, loose strut braces under bonnet, an empty medical box with something small in to rattle around
 
Hi,

I had the most annoying rattle just as you describe... I emptied the glovebox more times than I care to remember, and at one point started dismantling the dash. It turned ot just tightning the screws that hold the glove box in cured it!

Worth a try!

And best of luck....there is nothing more annoying than a rattle!!
 
If you open the glovebox, the recessed screw holes are quite obvious around the edge. The top ones are easily accessable, but access to the bottom two are hampered a bit by the hinge. You can get them with a long screwdriver.
