HELP PLEASE! Multiple issues in 1 go

Hey guys!

More a less at the same time I had my reversing parking sensor failing and an error light on the dashboard. I checked the reversing sensors and it sounded like it was the right sensor by putting in reverse and checking for the clicking sound. The error light is weird cos all the bulbs are working fine however, the right indicator is flashing faster than normal. Now I've got the drivers side of the window not going up in auto. It goes down in auto but not up in auto.

Any ideas???

Update:

I did the reset for the window and it worked but then it stopped. Sometimes it does go up in auto and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes nothing happens at all!

Possibly a bulb on its way out, the error check measures current draw rather than just a break in the circuit.
Could also be a battery on its way out - my windows started playing up, battery was not great but still started fine.

You can check if it's the sensor or wiring by swapping. If it is the sensor just get a new one. If connector you can get a repair set. If wiring a bit more difficult.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for replying. I was thinking it might be the battery but when I tested the voltage, it read roughly 12v when the engine was off and when the engine was on it read 14v.

I find it very weird how it's happening all pretty much at the same time.

I'm getting a diagnostic done tomorrow, hopefully that'll pin point what the hell is going on.

To get a true reading of the battery condition you need to leave it for a couple of hours. At least you know your alternator is alright ;)

Yeah true. Well I've had the battery checked and it turns out it was weak. Replaced it with the bosch s5 battery. The error light turned out to be the indicator bulb. Didn't realise the front right indicator had 2 bulbs! But the parking sensor failure still exists.
