Help needed *Pics

I recently bought the Parrot asteroid aftermarket HU for my Z4. I am aware that I have the 10 speaker system, but I'm not sure if I have DSP or not. The helper at Crutchfield said that I have to bypass the factory amplifier and wire to the speakers. Is this 100% true? Has anyone done anything different? What I do know is that when I bought the car, the previous owner had a stand-alone XM/sirius satellite radio installed that mounted on the dash and broadcasted through the FM on the factory radio (no retrofit or plugin). Will this affect anything? Here's the pics of the back of my BMW Business CD changer to help identify the type of system:

Looking at the amp, it has a bundle of wires going into only one connection, and I couldn't see a DSP coaxial cable that I've seen in some pictures. If I do have to wire around the amp, does anyone know where a How To is? Thanks for any help, and yes, I used the Search function :thumbsup:
 
If you have Nav then DSP is an option listed on the screen. Per facelift models the amp is located next to the battery in the boot, post facelift on the rear bulk head on the boot/trunk.
 
No navigation, and the amp is in the trunk. Does this mean I have DSP though. Again, I have the 10 speaker system, but I'm not sure if it is DSP or not. This is a 2003 model
