Help needed from my UK bothers and sisters

So I'm trying to find out where this is, I can't remember if it was in the Highlands of Scotland or not, this is about a 3rd of what you can see as far as when you look at it in a panoramic view, I had to take different position shots to get it all, but for the life of me I can remember where we were, and it's been almost 9 years since I took this. I spotted it out of the corner of my eye through a cove of trees as we were driving.

This is right side up, notice the rocks and the foreground of the pic through the water

Mine of the next shot just further out

lochlomond2.jpg

From Ardlui site of Loch Lomond

Going to be quite hard as there are no distinguishing features, there looks to be the slope of a mountain but would need more pictures of the area to tell.

Cool thanks for the feed back and look. I'll get more picks up when I get home. To the right of that shot I want to say there's a log cabin but I'll get the whole view in

It would narrow it down if you told us the places you visited in the UK.
Oh geeze was our honey moon and made it a true honeymoon so were there a month. Thinking, back landed in Heathrow hit Stonehenge since we landed on the fall equinox then high tailed it up to Edinburgh with only a jet lag hotel stop on the way. From there and in no particular order hit up sterling, hiked Ben Nevis, glen Coe, dalwhinnie distillery, Culloden, Kingussie, Inverness wanted to get to Skye but didn't make it. Pretty much got in the car and drove stopped when we wanted with a very loose itinerary. So I know that might not really narrow it down but it was on the drive just going. When we got back to England hit Sherwood and stayed in London last couple of days. This is one of the places that I had meant to log but never did to its whereabouts.

 Pretty nice views
Thanks :D From afar that's what I thought it looked like from what I remember  though been a while since I looked at that particular shot might have been like a cottage hate being at work where I can't get to the other pics to post them up right away.

There are some in Scotland, typically used as holiday lodges. I think it was Arran where I stayed in one as a youngster on holiday.

I'm thinking Kinlochleven/Loch Leven near Glencoe (B863)

What a road

Does that ring a bell?

Or Loch laggan (A86) same area'ish

One of the best roads for a motorcycle in Scotland

To be honest it could be around any corner up hear :)

.

Now updated with pics!!!

You guys are the best!!! Herminator gets it, went and did a search of Loch Lomond pics and that helped me narrow it down, pics that I found of Kinlochleven also looked very familiar but couldn't find any pics we of it, possible we were there and just didn't snap any shots.

I can't be sure, but Glen Affric is possible. They're lovely shots, showing one of the best aspects of my native land. :)
