Help! My Z4 won't start...

Hiya all... newb to the forum.

I have an '03 3.0 Roadster. My battery was dying (starting getting weaker and weaker), so instead of waiting 'til it totally went belly up, I went to NAPA and bought a new battery. Installed the new battery, and now it doesn't turn over- no clicking, nothing. Dash lights come on, NAV screen flips up/comes on, power locks work from key intermittently. Runing lights will come on, but no headlights (car has to be running, right?).

Outside of weak starting, all was fine prior to battery swap. Think I just got a bum battery from NAPA? Should I try jump starting it?

Any help much appreciated!

I would switch the ignition on turn the ircon on with fan up high then try flashing your main beam lights

If the fan doesn't drop and the lights are strong then the battery is fine, if the fan slows and the lights are weak then it's the battery

as for jump starting, just be careful you have connected everything as it was before first,
