I´m going to change the backlights and maybe also the third breake light to clear white..
(I will also change to Clear Side Markers)

Which do you prefer?

Alt 1: Change the backlights only (made in paint..sorry)

I got the clear middle light and later changed back to the OEM. The clear seems to look better on the really dark cars. :idunno:
 
Why can't the orange front indicator lens be changes as well? (the ones in the headlight unit). I've never seen these for sale, and it seems daft to change the rears and sides and then leave the fronts. :?

Most hate those things. Kevin at the old Z4UM took his headlight apart. Said it was impossible to remove. :idunno:
 
My stock '05 Z4 has cleared tail lights (the portion you showed, NOT the entire thing) and a clear third brake light. On a black car I think it looks perfect. If I had white I'd probably go for the red.

Personally I think that the clear headlight dosent look as nice as the "old" ones the orange blinker fits soo good there in front!!

Looks sweeet! What % of tint have you used there?

Also, for people that dont like the orange on the headlights ive seen a Boxster with just the orange bit tinted (so it looks virtually black) - it looked really good and the indicator was still more than useful! :thumbsup:
