Help ///M not starting

What - you look in your handbag as well? :poke:

I just open the door - then the lights come on as well :)

A bloke would never have got so many 'helpful' replies - Was the lack of 'silly bugger' comments anything to do with the fact that Ruby is a lady?

From the article linked in the 'car forums' thread....

A contributor confirms that yes, they are a girl. Seven male contributors make inept attempts to be charming.

Been reading this thread, all evening, in between watching strickly on I player, (Mrs G's fault, she was working).

Glad it's all sorted Ruby. Best you buy a couple of spare lamps. the present sent must be worn out. :)

Right just back, been on a couple long drives, decided to see everyone on the list in one go to kick start my car. I don't know what that breakdown man did but I'm not lying she feels so much better to drive. Is there a reason for this?

If you see any signs of struggling to start in the coming weeks I'd just get another battery. For the sake of a few quid it'd be daft not to!

Yes good advice.
Thank you all for your help and support whilst I was having a panic
Also that little light is really not that bright that I would notice it to switch off. Must be more attentive in future.

Hi Ruby

Would be worth investing in a CTEK battery charger/conditioner for £50. I have the mxs 5.0 and found it to be great at keeping the Zeds battery tip top (has paid for itself for the number of knackered batteries it has revived in the household).

Not sure how long the AGM batteries last!

well I was about to drive down from Glasgow to help out, you know, 'cause I'm a nice guy.... lol

Ruby, I second the comment about getting a ctek trickle charger, they are really good, easy to fit, and don't stay on all the time, only when it feels the battery going flat...I have my Zed hooked up to mine now...
