So times come for a refresh and I've got it down to these 2 suspension kits.

Does anyone have any experience/advice on either kit. I'm don't take it for track days... Just want better performance.

The koni have H&R 35mm drop as apposed to the B12's Eibach's 30mm. Worried about uneven road surface and speed bumps, would 35mm be a little too Much?

Koni's are £620 and the B12 I've found for £710.

Thanks for your help

Where have you found the B12 for £710? Cheapest I found was £790 - my mechanic got me a set for £600, could see if I can get another and post it - maybe £25 delivery?

If you buy from MK suspension in Germany you can get the B12 kit for £530 (something around there anyway). I did and am very happy. Not everyone likes doing this though as if you need to go through warranty or such like apparently it can be difficult.

Hi,

What sort of price can you get Koni's and Eibach's for if you are worried about a 35mm drop on the H&R's? - The Bilsteins are a good damper, but they are a fixed rate, which you may find a bit harsh for everyday road use. The Koni's range of adjustment although simple (4 settings only) range from softer than standard (Sports dampers) up to too firm for normal road use.

Stu.

Scooba-steve, I found them on demontweeks website for £716 Inc delivery. Dcperformance beat that for £710 Inc delivery..7 days.

I would prefer the softer ride of the koni, Im guessing the 5mm drop between H&R springs (35mm) or the Bilstein (30mm) is not really noticeable?

Scrap that, after a chat with demontweeks, the B12 kit delivered £648... So i think this is the route I'm going.

Well that's done then... Bilstein B12 kit and powerflex arb for the front. Delivery, all in. £678. Feel like I got a bargain

On my 1 series i went for koni yellow shocks and eibach springs. Im still enjoying the setup after 4 years. No idea what il do for the Z4 though,, possibly the same.
