Help identifying what I think is an aerial

Hi all,

Just purchased my first Zed, (will post pictures once I've cleaned it up a bit).

In the glove box I found the item in the pictures, it is attached to a long (2m ish) cable that disappears into the back of the glove box. Not sure what it is, whether it is standard or an aftermarket addition, where it is supposed to go, and what it does?!

Any help would be appreciated

That's a DAB antenna

Should be placed at the bottom of your windscreen

Thanks for the replies, I presume it is useless with the stock radio?

Took the radio out and found it wasn't plugged into anything anyways so it has been removed.

Yeah there's probably been an aftermarket unit fitted at some point or they'd planned to.
