Help I broke my Z4 seat belt light.

I decided that I could fix the airbag warning light on my car as it had come on after the battery was reconnected before the drivers side airbag had been reconnected, a long story but basically never leave a half reconstructed car alone with overzealous helpers!

I purchased a cable of eBay and then using DIS v57 I successfully cleared all the warnings for the car, not all of which related to the airbag but did relate to the dead battery I had the week before. I then drove the car and no warnings have returned. Success you may think.

However, it turns out that in the process of clearing the errors on the car I have disabled or deactivated the driver and passenger seat belt alarms! I am not sure how I have done this. I have checked that the alarm is enabled in SSS and I have checked occupancy sensors and seat belt connection sensors in DIS v57! Everything appears to be as expected.

Now if someone could help explain to me why the seat belt warning light flashes on for a few seconds and then disappears each time I start the car I would be eternally great full?

Its not a bad thing, you can have stuff on the seat now without having to plug the belt in....well done on the job you didn't realise you did lol
