Help! hole in mesh Wind Deflector?

Hi,

I have a nice mesh wind deflector which came with the Z4 - only problem there is a hole in the mesh!

I looked for a replacement wind deflector and quickly realised that £130 for a replacement wasn't ideal (too many other mods to do )

Anyone have any ideas for fixing the hole or has anyone ever attempted replacing the mesh?

Keep an eye on ebay and here, they cme up fairly often at much more reasonable prices.

OK thank you, I will keep an eye out, Are the wind deflectors the same for all Z4 models?

Isn't ridiculous that BMW made those deflectors out of such weak materials. Tossers.

are you talking about the strap-on jobbie or the fixed version? If the latter, as said, often pop upon eBay around £50-60 with people who are tight enough to remove them when they sell or trade the car.....
