Been through the ballache negotiations on the value of my Z so waiting for a cheque, managed to get an extra £1k on top of the original valuation so if anyone else is in this situation DON'T accept the first offer!
So good news then?
Well if you can ever call having my Z written off good news...

The guy who hit me has admitted liability to his insurance company and I've had a letter from them confirming it so that's a good thing.. And I'm happy enough with the valuation I got it up to after negotiations..

So it's looking for a new car so soon should have something newer and quicker than my old Z... As happy as I was with it I've decided I'm getting an upgrade. I've got the list down to 3 cars so will either be another Z4 but a 3.0 si this time but if I can't find the right one then also considering an e92 or even e93 335i or a TT vr6 quattro.

Problem I have is its my daily drive only have/had one car so soon as I'm paid out I lose the courtesy car I'm in now so will have to be pretty quick getting a new one

Sorry didn't mean for it to sound like that! Glad it's sorted though. I'd be totally gutted if mine got written off. Good luck with the search.

Sounds like you can move on now - I still can't believe yours has gone :(

Still a bit gutted after spending the best part of a year adding bits and doing subtle mods but found one that doesn't really need anything doing apart from a bit of a leather paint fix on the drivers seat bolster.... Sure I'll find some some things I want to mod once I have had it a few weeks though
