Help for iphone 7 to Aux in

Right treat me like your Dad/Grandad that knows nothing

I've tried searching but only came across a noise reduction thingy.

2004 E85 - basic business radio / single CD player with Aux in genuine BMW cable.

I run my iPod through it perfectly, my new IPhone 7 seems to be incompatible, if it's possible how do I play my iPhone music through the aux socket.

Basic instructions please don't get too technical :roll:

get one of these plugged into the aux socket....

but thought you could get a apple adapter to enable iPhone 7 to be plugged in like previous phones ?

I'll look at both options I never tried my old iPhone 4s just used my old iPod.

watch the info on software...… that particular lead doesn't work with software 10.03 on phone it says.....

Apple do a proper lead best to get it from them.... sadly it will be more than 3.99 !
