Help for a newbie please

Hi
Just got my 2003 Z4 3.0i with which I Am very happy but I need advise on a few issues please

1/. What is a stubby? Am I right in guessing it is a replacement shorter Ariel ? If so ar they easy to replace and where do I get one

2/.My headlamps are misty ( not condensation but more like the plastic lens is marked and it seems to be on the inside)

3/. Is the BMW badge on the boot lid easy to replace?

Thanks for your help guys

welcome need pics of course

1 yes, get them all over the place mine of fleabay and the old one unscrews.

2 bet its condensation use a hir dryer after taking the back off, if not you may need to get a polishing kit for the glass.

3 yes but be careful, someone with more knowledge on this one will be along soon

Evening... it's your first post so there will be an avalanche of where's the pics comments along soon.

So firstly, welcome... A stubby's a short Ariel replacement about the length of your thumb, try polishing toothpaste on your headlamps as helps to shine & clear them up & yes the rear badge does pry off... Though wait for someone to tell u how with an old credit card, not a screwdriver

Enter the last few digits of your VIN into this site to get the spec of your car

http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/

Then go here to find pre matched colours

http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/BMW_Leather_Colour_Chart.php

There's also always gliptone etc for leather care

What a great response from a lovely load of people
Thank you all for your help and comments
I shall look forward to being a regular to the z4 forum and hope to post some pics in the near future

Thanks again
