So we've done less than 200 miles in less than a week of ownership of the zed (2.0 E85, 67k miles). Just nipped out in it and the EML stays on!
Now my first thought is to head straight back to the dealer. But then I think that I don't want to leave it with him for a couple of days, while he "fixes" it by just clearing the codes and the light - I could do with getting a diagnostic of some kind first, to maybe see what we're dealing with.
So is it best to take it somewhere decent, or is someone local to me who knows what to look for and understands the code readings?
How much can the car be driven before a diagnostic test, with the EML on?
Advice and tips gratefully received.
