HELP!! Dennison icelink plus

I'm having problems with a Dennison icelink plus
I have the business cd so just a small display screen, I can get the music to play but it keeps stopping with the text "checking CD" also the track forward button is hit and miss
I don't have full search it just plays play list
Getting frustrated and need help

Do you have a CD changer, if so have you disconnected it at the changer?

What firmware is the dension running?

It uses the sma cables as the cd changer so I'm sure it's disconnected
Not sure what firmware version, I did try to find the latest but can't find any at all for icelink plus
