Hi, i sold my Z4 a few weeks ago and i am not close to getting another car...

I would be interested to listen to members opinions on which of the following you would choose without being biased...

2007 Z4 M Coupe
2006 Cayman S
2008 Boxster S

Has anyone owned any of the above (apart from the M... as we all know how great that car is ;))

What are your opinions, view etc... thanks in advance

Dude, just get the M.
Haven't owned the others but I looked at the Cayman before getting the 3.0Si and figured the Si was the better car(faster, cheaper, more economical if I remember correctly). The later Caymen (2009+?) has a bit more power and better fuel economy. Some say the build quality of the Roadster/Cayman pre-facelift is not that great either, oh and apparently as expensive to service as a 911, albet not much more expensive than an M however, but the Si would be cheaper than both to maintain.

So just get the M :).......or the Si Coupe :).....or at least the newer GAYman.

I like both the Boxster and the Cayman, but it would have to be the ///M for me too. What are the prices of each?

You first need to decide 'vert or coupe before going further. You probably know the pros and cons of each already, so it's a personal decision no one can decide for you.

Caymans/Boxsters are great cars, you can't really go wrong with them. Or can you? Google "IMS failure" and decide how lucky you feel ( or get a direct injected P-car, no IMS). In the region where I live, there are a lot of 911s, so you get labeled as a wannabe without enough money in a Boxster/Cayman. Matters not that they're actually better cars. OTOH, hardly anyone has even seen a Zed here. I wanted something unique and different from the masses, so I went with a Zed. Even if it's not for everyone, E86s have more style and flair than any other car in it's class. I would admit that even if I owned a Cayman.

Thanks for your help all

2007 Z4 M Coupe
2006 Cayman S = same price as the Z4 M Coupe
2008 Boxster S = €5k more than the others

What you reckon...
