I've a 2003 Z4 and have looked after the soft top so it is in good condition with no signs of wear.
Yesterday I noticed a circle of dried mud on it just above the rear screen which I assumed was bird poo so, to avoid it eating in to the material before I have a change to clean the roof properly, I thought I'd quickly wipe it off with some wet paper towel.
This I did, but as I wiped along the top of the rear screen, I noticed that two sections of the roof/stitching were now missing when I lifted up the paper towel!!
Has anyone seen similar issues where the stitching meets the top of the rear screen and is this likely repairable?
