Help - Condensation - Halfords

To be honest halfords dont have the best rep.. but if all was put back in place then its a case of the rubber perishing on the light covers.. the only person to blame is the tree which was the source of the rubber... or maybe BMW for using such a design :P

I would removce the rear light covers.... after you have dried out the light try using some gummi on the rubber, or a silicone spray to get some moisture back on it.... then reseal.. give it a couple of days.. if its still has the condensation then its a case of getting a new one seal from BMW :(

Maybe back in the olden days, but now I think you'll find the rubber is synthetic ......... so blame BMW [& their chemist]

I'm probably goosed because of all those years under cars in my more youthful years.
Nah, it's just old age

OT - I have a dodgy right knee so I went to the doctor, he said "It's just old age", I replied "My left knee doesn't hurt and that's the same age" He didn't answer :)

OP - It's a ottery at Halfords. Staff seem to be either car mad lads who want the staff discount for stick-on-tat, or daft young ladies who like aforementioned car nuts.
I'm sure their training involves every make and model of car they're going to work on.

Still, £7 and a day in the garage isn't too high a price to pay for the lesson learnt.
