Help - Code Reader in Bristol area ?

Number5

Has anyone in or around the Bristol Area got an error code reader I could borrow please ?
- My Engine Management Light came on today whilst having a little drive out with Number 1...

All seems fine, the engine is still starting and running fine, but I obviously need to find out what it's not happy about. If anyone is local and can help me diagnose it, I'll know whether or not I need to take a hammer to my son's piggy bank !

If you can't find one any nearer. I've got one.

Thanks Phil,
Sunday and Monday are due to be wet so the cars cleaned and gone away, so there's no rush, but I will probably take you up on that. I can always nip over and collect it one day after work next week if necessary.
I've got your number so I'll call you if there are no further offers a bit closer over the weekend.

Driving via M4 & M5 tomorrow if that's any help, can make a slight detour or meet at services. Pretty new to the software but it all works.

I was just wondering, I know things are different from country to country but most of the local part supply companies (Nappa, Auto Zone, Advanced Auto etc) have code readers at their stores and don't charge to for reading the codes for people. Its more of a courtesy service in hopes you will buy parts from them. Is this not offered in the UK? I bought a reader myself to avoid having to drive into to town if I had to use one, but I've seen a lot of people asking to borrow one here on the forum.

Thanks All,

I'm sorted now as picking one up from Phil45110 this week, but thanks for the offers.
