Help Choosing Tyres please.

In the UK you can only get the F1's in the size for the BMW staggered 18" wheels in the right spec for that application (ie, speed and load ratings) iirc...

Goodyear EAGLE F1 Asymmetric 225/40 R18 92Y XL asymmetric

Goodyear EAGLE F1 Asymmetric 255/35 R18 94Y XL asymmetric


Looks like you can still get GSD3 in the USA though, and at great prices... I'd get those instead if you can :D

I think those dealer that have them are now trying to blow them out at greatly reduced prices to clear their inventory. I have been trying a couple of months to get some and no joy in the sizes I want and the source that shipkiller listed the other day could not help me either. I was told yesterday by another local dealer that production has completely stopped on the GSD3's. They are really an excellent tire with the best wet traction of any tire I have ever driven.... :(
 
I had Michelins on the back for last year and half and have never felt comfortable with them. Replaced Bridgestone with Bridgestone on the front three months ago 225/40 R 18 88 W and going back to Bridgestone on the rear this weekend £335 each. 255/35 R 18 90 W.
