HELP: Cable and software around SE Ldn?

Getting a bit desperate now, I ordered BMW cable and software with a hope of it arriving today, in short it hasn't.

It only has a misfire but I need to figure out which cylinder and then go get myself a new coil to see if it fixes it, if not, all new plugs.

Help would really be appreciated. The BMW charge for plugging it in is mental.

Thinking about it, I have an OBD scanner for the VW but nothing for BMW. Realise people will probably say they don't really work that well blah blah blah, but the basic VW one I have successfully diagnosed the cylinder misfire numbers when I had issues a while back with the Golf. Anybody gone with anything like this…or RJS-Z4, what software and cable do you have?

Inks, I've just ordered from BMW cables basically. Should come with all software. I'm currently installing it. Even a basic code reader would have done me today, just need to figure out what cylinder, and whether it's plug or coil

Cool. Do you have a link to the BMW setup? Am guessing its PC only.
 
I won't share any links until I've tested it all. Got it a lot cheaper than the more popular "BMWCABLES.co.uk" website.

I believe it's PC only, am installing on my works laptop. Will report back later.
