Yesterday i was at a traffic light in drive foot on the brake, the car stalled as if someone had just flipped a switch and the engine turned off, i put it in park and started up again sounded fine only thing was there was a emissions light on.
Once i got home and restarted it a few hours later the light had gone.
Today i was at a junction auto in drive foot on brake at a stop, then it went again had to put it in park and restart the engine, this time no emissions light warning though. Its booked into BMW next week.
Car is 08 coupe just done service II oil etc if this makes a difference.
Any experience in this??? Coil ??sensor?
