Why I put myself through this crap I have no idea.......completed on Saturday in a quite embarrassing 3 hrs 54 minutes but a 40 minute delay in a near freezing 'lake of doom' which followed the 'swamp of doom' and was preceding the 'bog of doom' was a total killer.......pretty dangerous in honesty 25 minutes stood still in a queue submerged in freezing water , people being carted off in ambulances with shock and hypothermia left right and centre.
gynaecologically I was a woman for about 3 hours until I coaxed him back out using a warm sock and a piece of cheese.
The hills of hell were also a rare treat......scampering up and down a 1in4 hill of mud using only tree roots for grip and loads of snapped off trees forming spikes for you to fall to your death on.
