Hellrot Red 2.5si

Been considering selling my pride and joy, 2008 Hellrot Red 2.5si, low miles63k. The car has been best I’ve had but considering a change for a e89. Trying to gauge interest and thoughts on price, my reckoning was around £6.5 -7k.
It is extremely clean, other than small stone chips to front lower bumper, has a FSH, main dealer up to 30k then independent BMW Specialist, Inspection 2 service done at 46k, then last serviced at 55k.
Welcome any interest and queries. Have added a couple of photos from 300mile run at the weekend. Based central Scotland.

Whilst you may 'no longer want' your car, I do feel you'd get more views if you said it was 'for Sale'. :wink:
 
Your probably right, not quite sure on selling very much reluctant because it’s such a great car, really wanted to gauge interest without annoying anyone by saying for sale and then saying no.
 
Do a proper for sale ad. List it at a price you would be happy to sell at, or take a touch less. No point in asking for valuations as they will vary and you will still need to choose a starting price. If you can't achieve close to your asking price, then easy decision to keep it.

Several people have withdrawn ads, either due to a change of heart or unable to get the amount they want.
This isn't ebay or gumtree; we'll respect your decision if you change your mind. In fact unless you leave it late and upset a buyer then you're more likely to receive congratulations for deciding to hang onto it.
 
Must admit it confused the hell outta me (not difficult I know).

You can always change your mind; it's not a contract written in stone. Maybe just don't take a deposit and then refuse to re-imburse; that has gone down very, very badly recently. :o
 
If you haven't I'd suggest you try to drive an E89 to see how you like it before parting with your E85.

You want to be absolutely sure you are ready to part with it before you advertise.

I learnt the hard way with my first E86. Two days after I took a deposit on it I put a deposit on it's replacement. :roll:
