I'm new here - and to forums altogether so apologies if I'm breaking any etiquette!

Owner of a 2008 2.5 SI Sport which we love!

I've attached a pic from when we went to Lulworth Cove with the dog! Only other ones are from the car dealer.

I've got a question - when closing the roof I'm getting a graunchy sound. See YouTube video to hear it: https://youtu.be/IFYV7aUWZ98

Does anyone else have this? Is it normal and if not, does anyone know what the issue is? Should I get in touch with the dealer to get it sorted whilst still under warranty?

Hi there welcome,

Not had a zed for very long but that noise is not normal mine doesn't do it. I don't know if it's a problem apart from the alarming noise but I expect some of the old timers on here will know. At least you have a warranty to fall back on.

Is the roof issue due to inverted gravity by any chance? Or are you living in the Southern Hemisphere? :lol:

Seriously though I hope you get it sorted, but I can't offer any help given that my roof is maintenance free!
