Hi guys and girls,

Following my recent wanted advert and a fair bit of searching across all the car sales sites.... Today I picked up my first Z4.
It's a 2007 3.0Si Sport with FSH and 67k on the clock and it's lovely! Been worth the wait.

Anyway, a thread like this would be worthless without pics so lets see if I can manage to get this on my first attempt.

I couldn't resist this one after missing out last weekend due to work especially with prices going north in this weather :D

The car is in pretty much perfect condition, roof motor and vanos solenoid were done last year so my to do list is currently rather short...
* Stubby aerial (sorry to the minority who like the whippy :) )
* Brake fluid service to keep them all up to date
* Retrofit cruise control.

And that's it for now, also going to put some cash away for a water pump in case that decides to fail.
 
Don't worry, the length of the list is proportional to the time you spend on this website... :D

Haha thanks, to be honest I was aiming for a black interior, the red looked so bright and a bit garish in the pics but when I viewed the car in real life it just works, it's not 'that' bright... I'm warming to it, the piano black trim and M wheel in black balance it out a bit more.

The only real niggle is the pedal position, I'm so used to heel 'n' toeing in previous cars (including an E36 328i Sport) but the accelerator pedal seems a bit too far set back in relation to the brake pedal to make it smooth.

I was going to make the point that black roadsters are choice of the discerning and intelligent Zed owner. Then I read that you are another whippy murderer. :thumbsdown:

However, do enjoy (driving, not the stubby!) :driving:
