I'm a newbie to this forum and am looking at buying a Z4 too.
I used to drive a 2001 Hyundai Coupe, and was part of the UKHCC owners club, I spent alot of time tidying the car up to a great condition. Unfortunately with work I have been abroad the last 18 months, and now live in central london so no need for a car.
Last week I was offered a new contract whereby I get to travel around the UK to manage different events, including some at BTCC, Gadget Show, Goodwood Festival, Silverstone etc.
My company will pay for trains, taxis and travel, however given the amount of travelling for this project I am really keen on getting a Z4 to make it a far more enjoyable process by driving to the Events. Especially if I am going to be attending race events, I want to turn up in a nice car.
Once this contract comes to an end If i get work in central London I will likely say 'thank you' but sell the Z4 (if I can part with it) or if i get more Touring work keep it.
I plan on attending some Meets and Events with you once I have my Z4, have a laugh and learn about the Z4 in more detail.
Thats it for now from me, if anyone is selling a Z4 for around £4K-£5K please give me a shout.
