I have recently purchased a black 2010 Z4 sdrive 35is. Although the car is not that old, it has covered 65,000 miles! It has a full BMW service history and apart from extensive stone chips to the front of the car,it appears to be in good condition. It hasn't got many extras but we are not bothered as it is mainly for a bit of fun when the sun is shining. I checked with our local BMW garage and the only replacement parts it has had so far, is an injector and speaker. The front discs & pads are new as well. As it is always a gamble buying any used vehicle, I thought that as time goes by and the miles increase, some readers of this forum may be interested to read about how our "adventure" with a high mileage Z4 with no warranty, unfolds. It's certainly different from my 2006 diesel X5!
After adding a couple of hundred miles on the Z4, I can say that so far, it doesn't have any rattles, squeaks or bangs and everything is working as it should, although, haven't had an opportunity to drive it with the roof down yet.
As you already know, it is a lovely looking car and the sound it makes is addictive. All we need now is some sunshine!
