Just signed up.

Currently drive an Alpina D3 but I am doing fewer miles than I used to so looking for something a bit more fun.

Looking for either a Z4M or an Alpina Roadster S

Test drove an Alpina yesterday and I loved it, I think the one I've seen is a tad overpriced though, it's a 54 plate with 87k and the dealer wants 12k for it! What's would people say would be a fair price?

Also if anyone has druven both the Alpina and the Z4M what are the differences?

Thanks in advance :driving:

Hi and Welcome to the forum. there has been two or three threads about Alpina's for sale so have a look round. they do seem to hold the money as not so common as the z4m. good luck and hope you find one

I've owned both. I made some observations a little while after changing from one to the other.

Thanks Stuart, I think a test drive of a Z4M is in order, although the Alpina looks sexier I think the Z4M may suit my driving style a but more.

Whereabouts in the Cotswolds are you from? I grew up in Moreton in Marsh

I'm in Tetbury. If you're local and want a go in an M, let me know.

I am local can i please :D

Sadly I now live in Milton Keynes but thanks for the offer.

Gonna try and find a Z4M locally at a friendly dealer I can test drive.

Hi welcome
the Alpina is a fabulous car but I've never driven an M so can't compare. 12k seems a little high unless the car is absolute mint and/or the dealer is offering a good warranty. Good luck with your search I'm sure you won't be disappointed with either.

yes, stuarts you're man, some says stuarts anybodys man but that's another subj :) ect
