After getting some very helpful guidance by scouring this forum, I picked up my first Z4 on Friday evening. Three tanks of petrol later, I still haven't stopped smiling. I *love* this car! It's an '03 3.0 SE with SMG and, it would seem, every option BMW offered. It handles like a dream, despite the run flat tyres, and makes the dullest journey feel like an indulgence.

Contrary to some of the reviews I've read here and elsewhere, I've taken to the SMG immediately and think it makes the car for me - I live in the middle of London, and going back to balancing the clutch every 200 yards was too much to bear after several years wafting around in a 330i auto.

Welcome it won't take long to up the tank fulls used. after 3 years my Zed still puts a smile on my face :D
