Well, I bought my Z4 a few weeks ago and despite having had very few days when the weather has been nice enough to have the roof down (although that's not to say I haven't just put the sucker down anyway!), I absolutely love the car....

I've already had a huge amount of advice from you guys on all sorts of stuff from driver preference settings to tyre pressure indicator resets to cup holders, so thank you for the help so far :)

But here's the best bit...

Last night I had to do a 15 mile cross-country run across Leicestershire at around 10.30pm after a works do. The weather was crap (surprise surprise), but the route was all twisting B roads. Best of all, they were empty. Not quiet, but EMPTY :D

To say I enjoyed myself would be an understatement, the car was an absolute joy. I was seriously tempted to turn round when I got home and have another go.

Best car I've owned in a loooong time (possibly ever).

Second that.... welcome to the forum.... and don't forget the pics. We all love 'em here!

Welcome to the forum!

There are some great driving roads in Leicestershire. I can't remember specifically (my memory is terrible) but i think the road from Market Harborough to Melton Mowbray is particularly good!

Hi and welcome. Must admit the thought of a 15 mile b-road trip on run flats wouldn't inspire me to turn around and do it again...presume you've put non run flats on already

Just had 2 days driving around Snowdonia in my coupe , great roads & so quiet . Still on run flats . Personally I don't have a problem with them .
