Bet some of you have been wondering where I've been hiding recently?! No reason really, just that I've been so so busy over the last few months that I barely have time to come on the forum any more.
So what's new then? Any major news that I should know?!
I have some breaking news myself actually... My Coupe will be going tomorrow!!
I was thinking of getting a new car this year, I have had the ZC for three and a half years now, and loved every minute of it, but I can't keep it forever, so I'm moving on to something else...
I test drove a new Z4 35i a few months back, but it wasn't the right one for me. It was brilliant but not the perfect one for me so I decided to wait until something else came up. So after much deliberation I have gone and bought this...
Yes, it's not a new Z! I even shocked myself! I didn't even really used to like Porsches, but after going to Le Mans last year with a couple of them, they grew on me. I started to get a bit of a Porsche itch. So I've bought one!
It's a 2012 Cayman and I pick it up tomorrow!! I wasn't even planning on getting a new one just yet, I had been looking at white Cayman's on Pistonheads etc. for future reference, and decided to have a quick look at the Porsche centre in Sheffield on Monday while I was close. So to my surprise they had just got this one in! It was only registered two weeks ago! So I took it for a test drive, went home and thought about it, then went and put a deposit on it yesterday! Collecting it tomorrow! It will be a sleepless night, but also sad saying goodbye to my beloved Z.
I will miss the Z4 very much, we've had some good times and met some great people and seen some great places with this forum. But you can't get rid of me that easy, I will still check in on this forum every now and again (If I'm allowed that is
