I'm now the happy owner of a cracking, low mileage, full BM service history, manual, 3.0 Z4 so wanted to say hi.

Spent a few weeks looking and the right one came up with all of the options I wanted at a great price. Already bought myself one of the OTR / remote kits and need to sort out my glovebox handle but very, very happy so far. If only the weather would sort itself out so I can enjoy it properly!

Hi and welcome. My glovebox handle also played up soon after I bought my zed - must be a common fault . Dead easy to fix though - just undid the wo small screws holding the lock pushed one of the two pins back into place - put back together - job done in 2 minutes ( and I'm hamfisted ) Pleased that I could do it and didn't have to buy a new lock/key etc which being BMW is probably about 4 million quid !!!!
 
Still haven't got pics sorted but the 'improvements' have started already.

So far;

- OTH / remote - done
- sound generator mod - done
- drain holes checked and cleaned - done
- upgrade to MP3 compatible head unit - on order
- cruise control retro fit - to be ordered

Not sure what else to do - I thought the Z4 was pretty much perfect until I found this forum...!?

It is, ignore these lot, they were deprived of lego and meccano when they were young! :D
