Hi Guys,

New to the forum, just thought I'd say hello... Just bought an 05, black 3.0 manual , roadster with 108s, upgraded seats, auto lights and wipers, immaculate paint... I think I'm in LOVE!! Had a fiesta zetec s before, so it's quite a jump. For those interested (presumably some...) it's done 85K and I paid 8K bang on. Good money I thought?

I've only had it a week however and I think it's suffering from a common fault...the roof has stopped working today - what are the chances after 6 days?!! Anyway, I'm hoping it'll be covered under warranty...anything worth doing to see if it will work? Should I disconnect the battery in case water has caused it? (I will be searching the forum to find answers, but I thought someone might take pity on the newbie and give me an answer?

Front catches don't release and I get a solid orange light...what's this microswitch thing? Plllleeeaaassee help. Thanx
 
Sounds like the compartment in the boot which increases the space has been moved. Make sure it is in the down position. Happened to me last week.....

Thanks abernethy & paddy, it's sorted - she's fine! Was just having the shelf issue in the boot. Will post pics when it's clean - black gets filthy quickly!
