Hi all,

My name is Stefan and I'm from London.

I have bought a 2.0 Roadster in Silver and starting to mod a few things. So far I have changed the badges to black and silver carbon look and changed the standard stereo to a Pioneer 5200BT. I'll get some updated photo's on soon but below is the car as standard and a pic of the stereo fitted (not a great photo as from mobile phone at night).

Looking to change the wheels to 19s but not sure what if any problems that might cause as I now only have 17s.

I would be interested in any gatherings in the East or South such as Essex or Kent.

Hope to speak to some of you soon.

Cheers

Stefan

Welcome Stefan. There's a meet in Feb or March in London. Check this thread...

Thanks for the welcome and the heads up for the meet! Will try and make that definitely. Really want to make the most of having the roof down this summer so will be good to get out on a few meets.

On a separate note - can anyone give me advice about changing my 17s to 19s? The tyres the new wheels will come with are 235/35/19 but not sure about the new fitting and performance etc.

Cheers peeps!

Not an expert like some on here re: wheel sizes and fittings, but you could check this thread and it's links...

Welcome  picked the best colour :D

Ha - certainly the best for keeping a 'clean' look although I must admit I fancy the grey too. Only problem with silver is it never shows of the hard work washing and claying as much as a darker colour. Still I'm happy!

Hi,and Welcome to the forum. you will enjoy the meets,if u go on any. the ones in Wales and the Lakes are particularly good :) :driving:

Cheers Craig and Aquazi.

19s are defo calling me and running them round the lakes sounds even better. Better get some overtime I think!

Maybe but you can still get good results i do especially in the right light as Silver cars come to life early evening and no other colour looks as good as darkness falls :D

Blimey your car looks amazing mate! :o

Hats off to you. I love the wet look - I'd better get moving with the clay kit.

What polish, wax etc do you use for that finish?
