I have an intraveee.... and in a non m it takes under 5 minute to install from the boot. If you want the ipod in the center cubby then it takes a little longer.... i just drilled a hole through from the boot... so took another minute!!!

But the intravee will not charge the newer ipods (without an additional power converter).. only those which have power via firewire (i use a 1g nano in mine)
