Hello to the forum from South Wales,

Recently purchased a 2005 E85 2.0i roadster 80k miles on the clock. Fingers crossed for some good weather this summer to enjoy it.

I should have gone for a bigger engine but it was local and a good deal! Depending how ownership goes I may end up eventually looking for a 3.0 or an M in the future :D

No stranger to the BMW marque having owned an E46 323i, E92 335i, E53 X5 and F82 M4.

Initial thoughts on the car are mainly positive and I'm enjoying it.

Brakes don't feel as sharp as I'm used to and squeal a bit after driving for a while.

M4 to 2 litre E85 is definitely the wrong engine. Good for summer. the E89 35is is also an option if you are looking at M roadster

Welcome to the Forum. You have bought your car at the right time of year. Top down is the best way to travel. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the car. :D
