Hello...

Been lurking round the forum for a few months so thought it was time I introduced myself...

Beefy (james) from Dumfries, I’ve had my e85 Z4 since September. It had previously belonged to a friend who sadly passed away last summer and due to his illness it had been sitting for a while before that and had developed a few issues, most of which I’ve managed to sort out with help from this forum.

Looking forward to getting the Zed out this summer and will hopefully get on some of the forum drives.

Sadly so many people lost love ones or friends because of this Virus. Am sad for your loss , however fine looking car you have there welcome and hope you have many miles of smiles in it.

Welcome to Z ownership and the forum. See that the forum has helped you already. It is a fine looking car and I am sure your friend would be pleased to see it in your hands.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Sorry to hear about your friend but I'm sure he would rather you owned it than it being sold to anyone else.

And I hope you do get to put some miles on it this year. :driving: Actually I think we're all hoping to do the same!

Welcome Beefy, nice looking Zed, I'm sure you're old pal would be very happy at keeping his beloved motor close to home

Hello James,

A touching story and as others have said, I'm sure the return of your friend's Zed to some of Scotland's finest roads is a fitting tribute.

There is quite an active Zed social and trips scene in Scotland.

Here on the Forum Craig3.2 and I both organise a number of both day and weekend trips. Mine are Scottish based, Craig runs a weekend also in the Lakes. These and other trips and meetings are on the trips part of the Forum.

Richie (mefiecosse) here is the master of our breakfast meets that happen in various mostly Central Belt locations.

Also there is a very good Facebook Scottish Zed group that overlaps in part with the Forum.

Hope we can meet up sometime..I'm sure more of the Scottish Clan will be along shortly.
