Hi, my name is Rob, 29. Just got my convertable 2006 Z4 2.0l se last week with a month left for Mot.
Been a biker for 9 years owning several bikes and this is my 4th car after owning 2 standard cars and a Mazda RX8 till it spun a rotor bearing.

My plan is to get this car through its mot first of all. Need new front wishbones and both rear lines. Then do a full service and find out why it's consuming oil. (did see fresh oil on the header this morning)
I'll post a build thread as I love tinkering, still learning allot for cars as I'm a trained motorcycle mechanic. But this car seens to have some nice room to move around the top. Not so much for getting under it.

A blue Zed with a whippy, what more could you want.
Is it burning oil or leaking oil. Check the rocker cover gasket.
 
Looks to be leaking, seen a fresh spot on exhaust this morning. Previous owner already had the valve gasket replaced and the oil level sensor.
Work nights and sleep in day so not had much time to tinker yet.
