Afternoon All,
I signed up to the forum a couple of weeks ago and this is my first post. I'm not currently a Z4 driver but my girlfriend has a 55 2.0 Roadster. She's moving back to London in June and we'll be sharing her car from then onwards. It's been pretty neglected in recent years and is in need of a refresh. I'm looking forward to doing the following jobs over the summer;
1.) Wheel refurb
2.) Caliper and wheel hub refurb/painting
3.) Replace Front O'S Wing & Headlight Unit
4.) Refresh paintwork - multiple scratches & scuffs
5.) Driver side arm rest/door card swap
6.) Get cracked manifold welded
7.) Refurb/replace rear exhaust tailpipe tips
8.) New gearknob & pedals to freshen up the interior
9.) Oil Service
I've had a few Beemers in the past; E36 M3 Evo Cab, Mini Cooper S R53, E34 525is & E39 M5. I have a particular passion for German cars; VW's, BMW's & Porsches. I've done a bit of light spanner work on cars in the past and I'm hoping I have the sufficient skills and can find enough info on here to carry out all of the above tasks myself (bar the manifold welding).
I've had a good look through the forum and it looks great and appears to have more than enough info to get me started. See you all in future posts!
