I've already participated in a few posts...but I guess it wasn't very polite not to first use the newbie to introduce myself!

I bought my 03' last September just in time to drive it a bit before winter storage. I live in Montreal, Canada and picked up the car in Albany NY for substantial savings ($$). My first beemer and first ragtop and I'm totally pleased. This particular car has been a week-end driver since new. Detailed annually, no winters, rarely seen rain.

Already learned a good deal on this forum...clutch valve, CDV and all! Will plan to get these done as I've noticed some very mild symptoms that could be associated with them.

Had the BBS 107's chromed, Eagle F1's w/compact spare kit, and a few accessories added.

Late 40's and the time for this car in my life is oh so right!

Welcome! About the polite thing - no worries, mate! We're all about having fun here. Just try not to make any personal attacks unless it's done in jest - and it's best to use emoticons like :poke: when poking fun at another :D . Unless your poking fun at me, then no emoticon is necessary cause everyone makes fun of me and it's fun.
